Tuesday - Woke up in absolute pain. I felt like someone jus got done usin me for their punchin bag. To top that off I had a nasty lookin blister on my lip. Ewww!
Wednesday - Had another crappy night of sleep. Didn't sleep for more than ten minutes at a time the whole night! Nd then later on that evening I came down wit a fever. I still insisted on doin laundry but ran out of soap wit one more load to finish. So I decided to go to the store. Since I felt like I was burried in the snow wit jus my birthday suit on I put on my winter coat, sweats, nd slippers. Unfortunately, everyone looked at me like I was crazy. What they didn't kno was that I still felt like I was in the snow.
Thursday - Felt a little better except I was sweatin at work while everybody else was ok. They all thought I was crazy too. Also, my throat was hurtin a lil bit, but that didn't stop me from continuin on wit my day. Nd again my fever acted up that night again. Wasn't as bad as Wednesday but had more hot flashes. Thought I'd never sleep.
Friday - Woke up nd could barely move my head. My neck was so stiff I thought I'd break if I moved. My gums were also swollen nd beginnin to blister. I could barely open my mouth. Even a soggy bowl of cereal felt like I was eatin crushed glass. Once at work I realized my tonsils were swollen nd had blisters on em. Nd all my lymphnodes were swollen nd hurt to touch. Again I was the only one sweatin to death at work.
After work me nd my friend went to get a coworker food nd visit her on her break. By this time I was freezin again. Afterwards we went to my parents house to help a different coworker wit a school project. It was almost 80 degrees nd I was still freezin wit a blanket on. I decided to take my temperature even tho I didn't feel as bad as I had felt on Wednesday. To my surprise I was sicker than I previously thought. The thermometer read 103.2. My mom said I should go to the doctor but I wasn't done helpin my friend. I jus told everyone I'd go later. Again they all thought I was crazy. But for temporary purposes I took some medicine.
Before leavin the house I decided to use both thermometers hopin that the earlier readin was inaccurate; unfortunately they gave me the same reading.
I didn't actually leave to the doctors til ten cuz I was waitin for my friend to get off of work.
I decided to go to the UMC on Charleston thinkin it was a quick care, I soon found out it was an emergency room. I had nothin better to do tho. After over an hour if movin from desk to desk I finally saw the doctor. They told me they were gonna treat me for strep throat nd recommended I get a penicillin shot. They didn't tell me it would be in the booty tho! It was 1:00am when they gave me the shot. Afterwards they gave me my prescriptions nd I was finally able to go home.
Saturday - My day was a little better. I woke up, filled my prescriptions, nd went to work. Again I started havin hot flashes nd almost passed out cuz I didn't eat wit my medicine. Unfortunately it still hurt really bad to eat because my throat nd blistered gums. Also, wit every step forward of my right leg, I'd have a pain in my butt from the shot.
My day only really got better when I was able to hang wit a friend.
***Now everythin is almost normal. My throat isn't swollen nd I have no fever. I do still have a million fever blisters in my mouth causin pain when I eat. I would jus like to kno why ive had tonsillitis twice in 6 months. Obviously somethin is wrong wit me.
